WE HAVE A NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR.
JOIN OUR BANNERS FAMILY
"We give these kids a mental and physcial outlet and we give them the opportunity to feel free… for them this is just something that they would never otherwise have the opportunity to do.”
- Coach Jack Burton
Celebrating 20 years of #BridgingTheGap through hockey as a family in 2023, we are excited to embark on the journey of the next 20 years in 2024. Our program has garnered recognition from various esteemed sources, including local news, the Baltimore Sun, the Baltimore Banner, the Baltimore Ravens, the Washington Capitals, the New York Times, the National Hockey League (NHL), and more! A heartfelt thank you to every sponsor, donor, and supporter for their invaluable contributions in bridging the gap for our players.
We will continue to use hockey as a vehicle and lasting relationships to create cycles of success in marginalized youth in Baltimore.
As always, it's a great year to be a Banner.
TRANSITION TO ADULTHOOD
The Transition to Adulthood efforts involve not just individual programs like Bridge to Independence and Bridge to Entrepreneurship, but our efforts are woven into the sports program, and into the individual kids’ long-term relationship with the coach-mentors they have connected with.

Bridge to Entreprenuership
We assist individuals in launching their own small businesses, pursuing entrepreneurial endeavors, or establishing themselves as independent tradespeople. While some may opt for an apprenticeship, others choose a personalized approach, supported with financial aid from The Tender Bridge.
FEBRUARY 25TH// 11 AM
The Baltimore hockey community recently lost a great player and better friend in Phil Tupper. Phil was well known for his love of hockey and a supporter of the Baltimore Banners program over the years.
On February 25th, we will showcase the healing power of hockey with a great game featuring our veteran Banners players against many of Phil’s closest friends and teammates. We want to honor Phil’s memory, while also supporting the Baltimore Banners on behalf of and with the strong support of the Tupper family.
We want to honor Phil’s memory, while also supporting the Baltimore Banners on behalf of and with the strong support of the Tupper family. With $8,000 raised we hope to continue on to reaching our fundraising goal. Consider donating below.
*The game will be sponsored by Gray & Sons, Inc. and The Ian Thomas Foundation.
There's nothing better than our players hearing "Go Banners!" in the stands while racing up and down the ice.
The support of the Banners family is the fuel of the team. Check out the schedules for both teams and come out to a game for the second half of the season!
